This retreat is suitable for both new and experienced meditators.
“If we want to benefit from meditation practice in our day-to-day life, Vipassana meditation must be embedded in the larger context of the Buddha’s teaching.
The Buddha taught different ways to achieve peace and happiness, at each level we can experience a different form of joy and contentment. Among the many topics, the Buddha taught we have the ‘Four Protective Meditations’. They greatly support our Vipassana Meditation and at the same time extend a valuable protection to our day-to-day life. In this retreat, we will explore these four protections and include them in our formal practice.”
The retreat will be held in Noble Silence. Each day will include scheduled periods for sitting, walking, chanting, meals, work-as-practice, Dhamma talks, Q&A, group practice discussions, and opportunities for self-scheduled practice in one’s own rhythm.
