When Awareness Becomes Natural

During this 9-day retreat, we will explore and cultivate the practice of awareness that leads to liberation and well-being. The teachings will emphasize cultivating a natural awareness in the style of  Sayadaw U Tejaniya. With the support of wise attention, free from the distorting perceptions of craving and aversion, we come to see the way things are, that everything is nature undergoing an impersonal process of causes and effects.

In support of this relaxed, continuity of awareness, the retreat schedule will  include periods of self-directed practice. Retreatants will have an opportunity to follow their own rhythm of sitting and walking practice.  It is through this relaxed, yet steadying awareness, that the natural wisdom and compassion of the mind can blossom.

This course is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned meditators.

Registration for this retreat will be available later in the year.  A flyer will be posted to all yogis on the PIMG mailing list once registration is open.  If you wish to be added to the mailing list please email – keithmcburnie@iinet.net.au.
